Pulaj Guesthouse

Information

The area where the guesthouse is located is rich in agricultural and livestock products, it is characterized by fishing and tourism, as well as great exploitation of the natural resources found within the “Protected Area”. The guest house model (Guest House 3B: Bed & Breakfast & Birdwatching) is an innovation and a very good model for the area, not only as a peaceful agritourism with the environment, but also as an economic alternative, which extends the tourist season in the whole year. “Ecological tour” and “adventure tour” are developed for the entire Northern Region, including the Alps and the cross-border area, Montenegro-Kosovo.
We organize one-day tours around the Eco Farm, included in the “3B” model. Another innovation is the organization of “Farm to Farm” tours, with other farms around Lake Shkodra, Reç, Guri i Zi, Pukë, etc. The main motive of this project is the evaluation of ecological alternatives by tourist operators, the improvement of the coordination of activities for local development, as well as the support of the growth of the tourism sector, through the variety of ecological products, simultaneously thus extending the tourist season. It has a capacity of 6 rooms and is surrounded by small farms, with local farmers, who produce traditional agricultural and livestock products without pesticides, which are served to our customers.
The house is located near the Velipojë Nature Reserve, 3 km away from the Buna Delta and Viluni Lagoon, areas that offer ecological and adventure tourism. Also, the guest house is surrounded by roads and paths for walking and cycling, such as: climbing Mount Kolaj and cycling along the Buna River, “tour” Shkodër-Dajç, Penatar-Cas-Rrjodhë, Rana e Hedhun-Lezhë. The area is surrounded by cultural objects of national importance, such as the Shirqi Church, drinking water wells, “Franc Jozef” Island, Shkodra Castle, etc. Local and national holidays with a social-tourist and religious character, product fairs, concerts, etc. take place around.
