The ” Pema e Jetës” farm is a family business that was born from the desire to get away from the stresses and “smog” of the city, towards unspoiled nature. Only 2 km from the national road Plepa-Ndroq is very easily accessible from Tirana and Durrës and at the crossroads of the highway that connects the North with the South of Albania. All kinds of fruit trees, vineyards, olives and vegetables of the Mediterranean zone are cultivated there. Cattle, small cattle, pigs, geese, ducks, chickens, hens, pigeons are also bred. Every agricultural and livestock product that is processed on the farm such as: meat, vegetables, fruits, dairy products, dough products are prepared fresh every day and served directly in the restaurant. The visitor can collect in the gardens and farm plots any produce that he wants to consume at the restaurant table or at his home.
Children enjoy visiting the stables or animal lodges, or playing in the dedicated spaces. At all times they are accompanied by staff. Finally, the activity “A day from the life of a farmer” is offered, where every individual or family can choose to spend a fun day, together with the farm staff, in daily agricultural or livestock activities. The pride of this farm has been and remains the Goji plant, from which the name of the farm derives. Goji or wolfberry is a fruit that has great antioxidant power for the human body. Over 200 such roots are grown on the farm and used in all the restaurant’s dishes.
