The Nurellari family winery is located south-east of Berat on a plateau, bordered by the Osum River on one side and the fields of Mount Tomorr on the other. The property is well maintained as the beautiful large brick building with some modern features has been recently restored.
The brick building that houses the production equipment was a communist warehouse, and was originally the only building in the complex. After its expansion in 2014, today wine fermentation takes place in this old warehouse, in large steel tanks. Through a double wooden door, visitors to the winery are led into the bottling plant and via an arched wooden staircase descend into the wine cellar.
In addition to four different wines, the family also produces grape brandy, as well as a brandy flavored with walnuts. All of these products can be enjoyed during the tasting, including, alternately, three wines, or four wines and brandy.
On the same level as the tasting room are six new guest rooms, recently opened in May 2019, with individual styles and capacity for two or three people.
