Medaur Winery is located in Malësi e Madhe near the area of Koplik. The winery uses a combination of traditional and advanced technology to produce wine and grape brandy. The wines are produced entirely from the grape fruit which, after coming from the vineyards, is processed under the care of the highly experienced oenologist, Dr. Enver Ulcinit. The equipment and tanks are all made of durable inoxidable materials, which eliminate 100% the presence of foreign elements in the wine production. The filling of the wine is done under the presence of inert gases, protecting the wine from the changes that may occur due to the presence of oxygen.
The winery produces quality wine and is found in all the restaurants in the area and abroad.
Medaur canteen offers a tasting service for all visitors who have a passion for tasting traditional Albanian wines.
For its part, the “Medaur” winery has significantly increased the quality of grape cultivation and processing and in 2009 was equipped with the international certification on HACCP safety. The wine cellar offers visitors the service of wine tasting accompanied by local products.
