The dream to transform the predecessor tower into a guest house came after a 7-year experience in agri-tourism. The first years were very difficult for this type of activity, but over time the concept of tourism began to change positively, increasing the number of tourists in Albania.
Foreigners passing through the national road chose this tower to visit, and then to stay. With the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and AZHBR, a grand restoration for the tower was approved. This increased the accommodation capacity to 8 rooms. Traditional food is cooked by the owners of the house. Guides are offered at the Skanderbeg observation tower, tours according to the wishes of the customers, opportunities to take a walk to the Dushaj Waterfall, cycling and horseback riding, because it really is a wonderful place. Many cleaning actions have been carried out and credibility in the eyes of foreign tourists has increased for this area as well. Meanwhile, cooperation between the villagers of the surrounding area is increasing, buying and exchanging natural products. Enjoyable traditional cooking experiences with mother Sofia, who patiently teaches tourists how to cook Albanian food.
