Off the main road to Lalzi Bay, along the shore of a small reservoir, surrounded by terraced hills, overlooking the Adriatic, is Huqi Agritourism.
Huqi Agritourism mainly cultivates fruit trees and nuts, as well as olives and grapes. The property is surrounded by grape vineyards along the borders, while the hillsides near the entrance and the small hill behind the restaurant is covered with the farm’s trees. The restaurant offers a variety of traditional dishes, such as cabbage, home-made cheeses, including salty goat cheese.
On the same hill, among the abundant greenery, is the accommodation that the farm offers to visitors. The seven wooden cabins were built in 2018 with a government grant, and are partly on stilts due to the steep terrain. Visitors traveling in camper vans or on a budget can use the campsite and car park.
Other activities in the surrounding area include a tour around the 15-acres farm, a walk in the surrounding hills, or fishing in the lake. A boat trip on the lake in one of the farm’s rowing boats is also a fun afternoon activity, not just for young visitors. Finally, the nearby beaches of Lalzi Bay and Cape Rodon are also great day trips for visitors staying more than one night. No matter how long you stay, the fresh organic food and relaxed atmosphere will stay in your memory for a long time.
