Shkreli Resort is located on a hill near the Shtama Pass and includes a mountain hotel and restaurant complex. The 2-hectare property belonging to the resort is located on the border between Kruja and Dibra counties, in the heart of the Qafështama National Park. The resort is 45 minutes from Krujë through winding but very scenic roads at an altitude of 1300 meters. Just before reaching the pass, the other side of which is connected to Burrell and Dibra by another road, the sign leads to the entrance to the resort premises and parking space.
The area is perfect for hiking, and nature lovers interested in the local fauna will be delighted to learn that the national park’s forests provide habitat for brown bears, foxes, wolves and various bird species. The resort staff can organize bicycle and off-road tours, mountain bikes, while in winter visitors can play with real snowballs in the winter whiteness. Volleyball and soccer fields and nets are available for groups of friends looking for such activities. For visitors who prefer less active and more relaxing time, there are plans to convert the two floors above the restaurant into sauna and SPA facilities, effectively modernizing the hotel into a 5-star resort.
